We are proud to be eco-friendly florists who care about the environment and the community in which we live and loved supporting the GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK 18 - 26th September.
We spent the week promoting the issues around climate change, whilst raising money for an environmental project at our local junior school.
Our Just Giving collected donations justgiving.com/crowdfunding/the-great-big-green-week
We had a prize draw with over £150 worth of prizes.
We had a green window display about climate change
We replanted the barrels outside the row of shops on Booker Avenue, to have Bee Friendly plants.
We gave away seed bombs and a flower in our environmentally friendly oasis to any children who visited the shop.
All money raised went towards an environmental project at Booker Junior School, Booker Avenue, Liverpool, L18 - to not only protect the environment but also the community in which we live.
Also, if you were local to Booker Avenue, and popped into the shop you could collect your free seeds, that you can plant to help SAVE THE BEES - Booker Flowers and Gifts, 7 Booker Avenue, L18 4QY

The Great Big Green Week is organised by The Climate Coalition. From 18th until 26th September communities across the country will join together for the Great Big Green Week.
We have all seen those shocking pictures of plastic filling our oceans. As florists, we feel very close to the Earth and want to protect it.
Right through to our biodegradable oasis, all of our packaging is now eco-friendly, which means that it is easily compostable or can be fully recycled. Once you have finished enjoying your flowers from us, they will go back into growing more flowers!
We also upcycle products where we can, to make our bespoke and unique gifts.
To ensure that our flowers are grown sustainably and cultivated by workers who are treated humanely, we only buy blooms from suppliers who are MPA.
It feels good to know that your arrangements will not have been created at the expense of anyone else in the world.
Just as we believe our flowers spread happiness, we also like to give back to our community and also do our best to support local charities and schools.
