We are proud to be eco-friendly florists who care about the environment and the community in which we live and will be supporting The GREAT BIG GREEN WEEK again this year.

From 24th September until 2nd October we are celebrating action on climate change and are hoping to raise as much money as possible for an environmental project at Calderstones School in Liverpool. 

We are spending the week promoting the issues around climate change.  We will have a 'Green' window display in our shop, and we are revamping the flower barrels outside the row of shops on Booker Avenue.  So if you are in the area of Booker Avenue, make sure you come and take a look.

We are very passionate Florists who care about the environment and love to get involved with helping local charities and schools in the local area.

What Are We Doing?

We will be running a competition to win lots of amazing prizes and every person that donates will be entered - just make sure you include your full name when you make an online donation.

Plus we will be selling a beautiful Charity Bouquet and will donate £5 from every charity bouquet sold to this worthy cause. 

We hope you can all support us and help raise as much money as possible, which will go towards an environmental project at Calderstones High School, to not only protect the environment but also the community in which we live. 

We are passionate about being eco-friendly, supporting the community and helping the environment at the same time, so we are really looking forward to taking part in The Great Big Green Week this year.

How You Can Help?

You can help us in a number of ways.... You can either make an online donation to support this worth cause and your local community.  Our Just Giving page to make a donation is justgiving.com/crowdfunding/great-big-green-week However, If you would prefer to make a donation in person, you can pop into the shop to make a cash donation.  

Everyone who makes a donation will be entered into a prize draw, so you could also win a Beautiful Bouquet from Booker Flowers and Gifts. 

Alternatively, you can order this beautiful The Great Big Green Week Charity Bouquet which is suitable for any occasion. We can deliver this in Liverpool 7 days a week from just £40 and will then donate £5 on your behalf to Calderstones School.  Not only is this a bright and beautiful bouquet, but it also helps a worthy cause. 

Last year we took part in The Great Big Green Week and raised an amazing £243 from online donations, in-store donations, and from sales of a charity bouquet, so we hope this year to be able to do the same.

More about the Great Big Green Week

The Great Big Green Week is organised by The Climate Coalition.

From 24th September until 2nd October communities across the country will join together for the Great Big Green Week.

Although we could donate our money raised to the Climate Coalition we wanted to support a more local cause. Calderstones School is getting involved in The Big Green Week too, so our partnership was perfect.  Plus it means the money we raise will go directly back into our local community.

Ecofriendly Florists

We have all seen those shocking pictures of plastic filling our oceans. As florists, we feel very close to the Earth and want to protect it.

Right through to our biodegradable oasis, all of our packaging is now eco-friendly, which means that it is easily compostable or can be fully recycled. Once you have finished enjoying your flowers from us, they will go back into growing more flowers!

We also upcycle products where we can, to make our bespoke and unique gifts.

Ethically Minded

To ensure that our flowers are grown sustainably and cultivated by workers who are treated humanely, we only buy blooms from suppliers who are MPA.

It feels good to know that your arrangements will not have been created at the expense of anyone else in the world.

Just as we believe our flowers spread happiness, we also like to give back to our community and also do our best to support local charities and schools.
