COVID19 Procedures for Mothers Day Deliveries in Liverpool - March 22nd

Coronavirus (COVID19) Update

We recognise the increased uncertainty that Coronavirus may be causing and would like to offer our reassurances that the health and wellbeing of our florists; our valued customers; and your loved ones are always our number one priority.

At this time following Government Advice we will be remaining OPEN until further notice and its business as usual. We have put new procedures in place following the guidance provided by the World Health Organisation and the British Government and will only accept and deliver orders where we feel it is safe to do so.

We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and will amend our procedures if guidance changes. However with Mothers Day just a few days away we wanted you to know we are taking every precaution to keep everyone safe and you should not worry about ordering your Mothers Day Flowers from us! We wont let you down.

Luckily our suppliers have NOT been affected and all of our fresh Spring flowers will be in stock for Mothers Day and the days thereafter.

We are currently creating beautiful bouquets in an environment that is as clean as possible and we are taking all precautions to keep ourselves and our customers safe.

We are using alcohol based wipes for all our surfaces; door handles; pens etc and all our staff and delivery drivers have an antibacterial gel to use and we are washing our hands regularly.

Contactless deliveries

We have also introduced “contactless deliveries” which we hope will offer peace of mind and protection for everyone.

We have advised our delivery drivers to follow the below guidance when making a delivery

  • Put the flowers in a suitably safe place.
  • Ring the doorbell to alert the recipient that the delivery has taken place and then stand back two metres from the door in case the recipient answers.
  • If the door is not opened put a calling card through the letterbox to advise where the flowers have been left.
  • If the recipient chooses to open the door stay at least two metres away while communicating with the recipient ensuring the delivery service is truly contact free.
  • The recipient will just need to give their name to the delivery driver - rather than having to sign for the delivery

Mothers Day Flower Deliveries

As we approach Mothers Day we want to assure you that we are working hard to deliver your heartfelt wishes. To that end we may have to substitute certain stems (due to shortages) but we can guarantee we will create something seriously special on your behalf using a mix of our very best in store stems.

Secondly we are bringing forward all Mothers Day deliveries to accommodate delivery staff who will be working on the front line. We know that you will understand why these decisions are necessary and support us in our mission to keep delivering flowers during this difficult time. This is to ensure your Mum will definitely get her flowers.  Mothers Day deliveries will commence on Thursday 19th March.

To minimise contact all of our delivery drivers will adhere to our new Contactless Deliveries procedure as mentioned above and your special Mum who is receiving the flowers will not have to come into close contact with us.

So even if you cant see your Mum this Mothers Day because of the Coronavirus you can still let her know you are thinking of her by letting us deliver flowers to her (safely!)

We have some beautiful Mother's Day Flowers; Gift Sets; Plants; Champagne and Chocolates that you can order today and we will deliver them to your Mum on Sunday 22nd March.

So shop locally for Mothers Day at Booker Flowers and Gifts Liverpool Florist. We would love to see you in our shop on Booker Avenue but if you want to minimise contact we are accepting orders online or over the phone.

We are open 7 days a week and can still offer Mothers Day flower delivery in Liverpool.

Alternatively we will be open on Mothers Day Sunday 22 March if you want to pop in to collect your flowers. However we would recommend pre ordering to avoid disappointment - just give us a call: 0151 724 4850
