We have some amazing news… we have been nominated for the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, Innovation in Business Awards 2021, in not one but TWO categories.

The first award is in the Environmental and Climate Change category.  The other nomination is for the Responsible Business of the Year Award. The Liverpool Chamber Innovation in Business Awards will be held at the Liverpool Melia Hotel on 18th November.

The event is being held to celebrate the spirit of innovation that has driven the recovery of many local businesses during the pandemic.  Within each category, there is a traditional award to an outstanding business, alongside a special award for an innovator that has confronted and overcome the challenges of the past 18 months.

We are so happy that we have been nominated for the Responsible Business of the Year award because during the last 18 months, we have worked tireless, behind closed doors, to deliver beautiful flowers for every occasion, including birthdays, new babies, funerals and anniversaries.  We adapted our ways of working, and implemented a ‘contactless delivery’ method so that we were still able to deliver flowers in Liverpool throughout the pandemic.

ECO-FRIENDLY LIVERPOOL FLORISTS

As well as continuing to work throughout the pandemic, we have also been making changes to what we use and how we use it to become as eco-friendly as possible and we are very grateful that all of our hard work has paid off, by being nominated for an eco-friendly award by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.

As Liverpool florists, we feel very close to the Earth and being eco-friendly is our number one goal, so being recognised in the Environmental and Climate Change category has been the cherry on the top!

A full list of shortlisted candidates can be found below.  These awards will now be put to a public vote, which will account for 50% of the final decision alongside an independent judging panel.

Booker Flowers and Gifts are thankful just to be nominated, but if you would like to vote for us, we would really appreciate it!  Voting closes 30th September 2021.

It only takes 5 minutes to vote (although you do have to select someone in every category) – just use this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/LiverpoolChamberAwards21

We believe our flowers spread happiness, and we feel good knowing our flowers won’t have been created at the expense of anyone else in the world and are happy that we have been recognised by the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.
