Something spellbindingly magical is happening this October at our flower shop on Booker Avenue...On Thursday 28th October 6pm-7.30pm, we're opening a page from the florist's spellbook and inviting you to create one of the most enchanted designs we've ever taught — a Witches Flower Broomstick.
Part floral design, part Halloween decoration, and part magical masterpiece, this seasonal flower class creation looks as though it has flown straight out of a storybook and landed in the heart of our flower school.
Expect an evening of floral wizardry as we weave together seasonal flowers, botanicals, and natural materials to create beautiful broomsticks worthy of any good witch's haven. Inspired by folklore, autumn gatherings, and a touch of Halloween magic, each design will be completely unique to its creator.
Whether you hang yours on a door to welcome visiting witches, suspend it from fishing wire so it appears to float mysteriously through the air, or style it amongst your Halloween decorations, it's guaranteed to cast a spell on anyone who sees it.
Gather your fellow witches, summon your creativity, and join us for an evening of floral enchantment, seasonal blooms, and just a little bit of hocus pocus.

Imagine if a traditional witch's broom took a detour through a flower garden.
Using natural materials, seasonal flowers, twigs and foliage, you'll create a decorative broomstick bursting with texture, movement, and autumn character.
You’ll also notice that many of the floral elements you'll use in this design carry their own sense of folklore and symbolism. Think fragrant herbs like lavender and thyme, long associated with calm, protection, and traditional home rituals, alongside textural elements such as helichrysum and amaranthus, chosen for their movement, form, and ability to dry beautifully over time.
These are the kinds of ingredients often found in seasonal traditions, old stories, and garden folklore — plants that feel naturally at home in autumn arrangements and carry a sense of history and meaning within them. Combined with seasonal foliage and flowers, they help create a design that feels a little wild, a little mystical, and completely in tune with the spirit of the season.
The flowers chosen for this workshop have been selected not only for their beauty but also because many of them will dry naturally over time.
That means your creation can continue to be enjoyed long after the magic of Halloween has passed.
Every broomstick will be different, making this one of the most creative and personal flower workshops we've ever offered.

Forget mass-produced Halloween decorations.
This workshop is all about creating something unique, handcrafted, and filled with character.
Your Witch's Flower Broomstick can be:
Hung on your front door as a magical autumn welcome
Displayed inside amongst pumpkins and candles
Suspended using fishing wire to create a floating broomstick effect
Styled as part of a Halloween table display
Kept long after Halloween as a beautiful dried floral piece
It's the perfect blend of autumn floristry and Halloween creativity.
Never made anything like this before?
Don't worry.
Our flower workshops are designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and suitable for complete beginners. Every stage of the design will be demonstrated by our experienced florist tutor Fleur, who will guide you through the process step-by-step.
Whether you're an experienced flower arranger, a Halloween enthusiast, or simply someone looking for a creative evening out, you'll be able to create a beautiful finished design.
Many attendees come on their own, whilst others bring friends, family members, or fellow witches along for the ride.
Our flower workshops take place at our Booker Avenue flower shop in Liverpool, where everything you need is provided for the evening.
Flowers, foliage, materials, tools, tuition, and plenty of inspiration are all included.
All you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to embrace a little Halloween magic. If you have any small charms, ribbons, feathers, trinkets, or seasonal embellishments you’d like to include in your design, feel free to bring them along.
