How to Care for Your Christmas Cactus Plant

Temperature: Keep in a bright, stable room, ideally 15–20°C.

Light: Bright, indirect sunlight; avoid direct heat or strong sun which can scorch leaves. It can be placed outdoors in a shady spot over June, July, and August, just make sure to protect from slugs. Placing outside will mean that it will flower again.

Watering: Water sparingly; allow the soil to dry slightly between watering. Overwatering can damage roots. Water sparingly between February and March during its resting period.

Flowering: Christmas Cactus blooms in winter from November through to January. Remove faded flowers to encourage new buds and maintain healthy growth.
