Argentinian wine

The Man meets mountain Malbec is an Argentinian wine, made as part of one of Alliance Wines' production projects, working alongside consultant winemaker Sebastian San Martin.

The Malbec grapes come from vineyards in Vistalba and Medrano, two areas within Mendoza. The vines are grown using vertical training systems and drip irrigation, with the region's dry, desert-like climate and monsoonal influences helping to create the conditions behind the wine's distinctive character.

Following traditional red wine fermentation in stainless steel tanks and concrete vats, part of this Argentinian wine spends around three months in old French oak, helping to soften the tannins and bring together its rich fruit flavours and smooth finish.
