Thank you for your support - Brain Tumour Research Fundraiser 

We had lots to celebrate on the 15th of June it is was our first day open to the public (since being closed for 3 months) and it was also the start of our fundraising event Wear a Hat with Flowers for Brain Tumour Research 

We thought the Wear a Hat with Flowers Day (which is held on 19th June) is such a brilliant fundraising idea, that we decided to extend the occasion and all of our staff took part in Wear a Hat with Flowers ALL WEEK – it was very appropriate considering we had a large supply of flowers to hand in our Liverpool flower shop and some very artistic staff working here!

We all had a great time making & wearing our floral hats and we would like to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who donated and came into the shop to see us.  

In total we can now confirm we raised a fantastic £340 (plus £68.75 gift aid) which has all gone to the Brain Tumour Research Charity. 

As a thank you to everyone that had donated, we entered them into a prize draw to win a British Flowers Bouquet. The lucky person was Tom O'Donnell - So congratulations Tom we hope you enjoyed your British Flower Bouquet (pictured below).

We will definitely be taking part in this yearly fundraiser again next year - especially as Emma (pictured first in the poster below) has been chosen by Brain Tumour Research as a poster girl for next year's event!

Brain tumours can affect anyone, at any age. What is more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, and yet only 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Monday 15th June was the first day we re-opened our doors, after being closed since March during the pandemic and we could not wait to welcome all our lovely customers back to the shop. Safety measures are in place in the shop, such as hand sanitizer, sneeze screens, contactless payments and 2-meter markers so everyone can keep their distance. Plus all our deliveries will continue to be contactless so that we can ensure the safety of our customers and staff.
