There's a lot to like about this one, particularly the orange slice trail that comes down from the wreath like a little half garland. Our Christmas Citrus Spruce & Pinecone Door Wreath is made on a 14" frame but comes up larger once it's finished, with fresh holly, eucalyptus and mixed Christmas foliage creating a natural base for the decorations. It's traditional enough to feel instantly Christmassy, but the way everything is grouped gives it a much more modern look.

Whole oranges, whole limes and crab apples bring plenty of colour, while the lotus heads and pine cones are grouped together rather than dotted around the wreath. Then there's that string of dried orange slices, carefully threaded to create a trailing feature that hangs down from the design. Any reusable decorations can be carefully removed and kept ready to use again next Christmas, giving them a life beyond just one festive season.

How to Care for Your Christmas Wreath

Your Christmas wreath is made using natural materials, so a little care will help it stay looking beautiful throughout the festive season.

Hang your wreath somewhere cool and, where possible, protected from strong sunlight, radiators and other sources of direct heat. If your wreath contains fresh foliage, keeping it away from particularly warm or dry conditions will help slow down the natural drying process.

Your wreath may gradually change as the foliage dries — that's completely natural and part of its charm. Avoid placing it somewhere where it is likely to be constantly knocked, and take extra care during periods of particularly wet or windy weather.

Once Christmas is over, remove any decorations you'd like to keep for next year and separate the natural greenery and moss so they can be disposed of with your garden waste where appropriate.
